Fiorella Pitocchi is "Responsible for the prevention of corruption and Responsible for transparency" for CREA, pursuant to art.1, paragraphs 7 and 8, Law no. 190/2012 and art.43, Legislative Decree no. 33/2013 (Extraordinary Commissioner's Decree no. 13 of 01/02/2016).

Competencies of the Office

  • carries out inspection activities at the research and monitoring structures in compliance with the directives of the central administration;

  • makes proposals and suggestions for the improvement of management on the basis of any criticalities found;

  • examines the minutes of the inspections carried out by the Ministry of the Economy and Finance and prepares the related counter-deductions;

  • carries out obligations relating to Transparency and Integrity pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 33 of 14 March 2013: stable activity of control - also with sample checks -, coordination and monitoring of the fulfilment of publication obligations provided for by current legislation, ensuring the completeness, clarity and updating of information and the full implementation of civic access;

  • is responsible for the preparation and updating of the Three-year Programme on Transparency and Integrity;

  • reports to the political summit, to the OIV, to ANAC and, in the most serious cases, to the disciplinary office, cases of non-compliance or delayed compliance by those responsible;

  • carries out support activities for the preparation of the Three-Year Corruption Prevention Plan, stable control activities - including sample checks -, coordination and monitoring of compliance with the obligations set out in the Plan itself according to the procedures indicated therein.

The Office has set up the CREA URP, which ensures publicity and access to its services and activities by promoting relations with external and internal users and relations and relations with the public in accordance with Law 150/2000.
