FAO Science Innovation forum: Special Event CREA, Wednesday 19 October in Rome

During the FAO Science and Innovation Forum, CREA organizes a Special Event, with the aim of discussing how to meet the goals of the UN Agenda 2030, specifically focused on Sustainable Development GOAL 12 “ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns”.

The issue will be analized with a dynamic debate on science, technology and innovations, using a multi stakeholder approach.

This Special Event contributes to the FAO Science and Innovation Strategy by sharing experiences, best practices, lessons learned and case studies from national and local contexts, also strengthening the connection between Research and End-Users.

It will be divided into three round tables, focusing on the following topics:

  • Agrobiodiversity for sustainable production systems
  • Sustainable and healthy diets for us and for the planet
  • Food waste and circular economy

The Event will take place on October 19th, 2022 in presence at the Italian Ministry of Culture. Participation upon registration or with streaming connection on CREA YouTube channel.

English is the official language.

You are invited to contribute to global research debate by inserting at the following link your most recent publications on the innovations concerning the topics of the three round tables. All contributions received will be collected as Research Highlights on Sustainable Development Goal 12, and shared with all site visitors and event participants.

The event will be in Rome from 9.30 am to 1.30 pm.
