CREA believes that the short-term international mobility of its researchers is an effective international networking tool. Among the commitments undertaken by the Body (Resolution n. 9/17 of 26 June 2017) with the Action Plan drawn up to adhere to the principles enshrined in the European Charter for Researchers, submitted last July to the European Commission, stands out the one referred to in paragraph 10 which states: “Subject to the availability of resources, the Training Plan will devote part of the budget to international short term mobility with particular reference to early-stage researchers.”

In 2018, an internal call for applications was launched for short-term mobility internships for researchers and technologists on a permanent and fixed-term basis at CREA. The call was aimed at strengthening the network of relations between CREA, the universities and European research institutions of high scientific prestige operating in the agricultural, fisheries, forestry, nutritional and socio-economic sectors.
