CREA organizes the National Soil Hub: Meeting with the Italian Stakeholders of the EJP-SOIL Program and the SOIL-HUB Project

In the framework of the European Joint Program on Soil (EJP Soil) and the national Soil HUB project, CREA will coordinate the meeting “Italian Soil Hub - Comparing experiences for a soil monitoring network”, which will take place Tuesday 15 November from 09:30 to 17:00 at the Ministero delle politiche agricole alimentari e forestali.
The event will be dedicated exclusively to the project stakeholders, and will be meant as a moment of discussion to foster collaboration and promote capacity building and understanding of sustainable agricultural land management, with a view to planning an efficient national soil monitoring network.
The European Joint Program on Soil (EJP Soil): the objective of EJP SOIL is to develope a reference research framework on agricultural land management, to contributes to food sustainablity, adaptation and mitigation of climate change and development of the bioeconomy. EJP SOIL takes into account the need for effective political solutions and a strategic multi-actor approach that can facilitate the adoption of best agricultural practices. The Program line up with the Horizon Europe's mission for Soil Health and Food, and contributes to the European Green Deal and Farm to Fork strategy.
The project is coordinated by the Institut National de Recherche pour l’Agriculture, l’Alimentation et l’Environnement (INRAE, Francia), the partnership is made of 26 beneficiaries from 24 European countries.
