The Association for Animal Science and Production aims to promote the progress of sciences and technologies that affect animals in livestock production, fish fauna, pets and sports animals, working animals and wildlife and, moreover, environmental, landscape, ethological, economic factors, animal welfare, quality, safety and use of products of animal origin. The topics of the congress will be: animal farming systems, ecology and multiple services, livestock farming, impacts mitigation and resource use, animal welfare and efficiency: conflict or resource?, animal genetic diversity and genetic improvement: paradox or oportunity?, innovative approaches in animal production, companion animals and society, food of animal origin for human health, food of animal origin: quality, territory, culture and emotions.
