Thirteenth National Conference on Biodiversity
From 7th to 9th September 2021 the XIII Conference on Biodiversity will be held online, some of the results of the MIQUALAT project will be presented:
The MIQUALAT Project and the study on the functional qualities of milk analized in some bovine breeds for the purpose of animal genetic improvement and human healt.
The event, in its 13th edition promoted by the Academy of Sciences of Mediterranean Biodiversity (ASBM), represents an important appointment for the scientific debate between researchers, experts from national and international organizations, institutional representatives, politicians and public administrators on safeguarding and enhancement of biodiversity. The topics of the conference, whose subtitle is "agriculture, environment and health", focus on various aspects of scientific research and on policies related to plant, animal and microbial biological diversity in agriculture and food, as well as in natural ecosystems. The main objectives of the conference are: 1) to examine the urgent issue of safeguarding biodiversity in a scenario of climate change and food insecurity; 2) disseminate current knowledge for the identification, application and development of strategies aimed at promoting the diversification of natural and man-made systems, cultural and food diversity; 3) increase knowledge on the function, distribution and potential of biodiversity; 4) communicate the evolution of integrated knowledge on biodiversity through the interaction of different scientific fields.
