The laboratory deals with the estimation of the genetic diversity in experimental (synthetic, semi-hybrid) and commercial (ecotypes, synthetic varieties) plant materials by means of SSR molecular markers. The sequence variation of genes of interest in a Tilling mutant collection of M. truncatula and in experimental plant materials of forage legumes (eco-Tilling) (capillary DNA analyzer) are studied. Genomic libraries are prepared for analysis of NGS (Next Generation Sequencing) and the expression of genes of interest in different tissues / organs of forage plants is analysed (real-time rotary analyzer).
