Laboratory of Biological and Clinical Chemistry, Lodi

The laboratory deals with the biochemical-cellular characterization of the response to various environmental conditions, farming and feeding techniques, as well as highlighting the physiological differences among animals due to breeds. The lab is equipped to analyse the corpuscular elements of blood (automated instrumentation based on colorimetric, optical and impedancemetric techniques), the biochemical profile of body fluids (automated instruments for colorimetric measurements also applied to enzymatic methods and instruments based on gel electrophoresis) and to study gene expression profiling (real time PCR) of cell extracts.
