Fiorella Pitocchi is "Responsible for the prevention of corruption and responsible for transparency" for CREA, pursuant to art. 1, paragraphs 7 and 8, Law n. 190/2012 and art. 43, Legislative Decree n. 33/2013 (Decree of the Extraordinary Commissioner n. 32 of 5/03/2020).
Competences of the Office

It applies current legislation on anti-corruption (Law no. 190/2012 and subsequent provisions) and transparency (Legislative Decree no. 33/2013) and collaborates with the Director-General in identifying and implementing anti-corruption and transparency strategies;

It carries out obligations relating to Transparency pursuant to Legislative Decree no. 33/2013, guaranteeing total accessibility to the data and documents held by the Body, in order to protect the rights of citizens, promote the participation of interested parties in administrative activities and encourage widespread forms of control over the pursuit of institutional functions and the use of public resources;

It expresses opinions on matters and competences concerning civic access and manages requests for review;

It ensures that the access register is kept and updated;

It promotes relations with external and internal users, ensuring publicity and access to the services and activities of the Organzation through the Public Relations Office (URP);

It carries out the activities required for the drafting and updating of the Three-Year Plan for the Prevention of Corruption and Transparency and carries out the related monitoring at the central offices and centres in order to verify its implementation;

It carries out activities as a regulatory observatory on anti-corruption and transparency, also for the purpose of supporting the General Management and the offices in the knowledge of regulations, circulars, resolutions and ANAC guidelines on matters falling within their competence;

It is responsible for reporting to the Director-General, the political top management, the OIV, the ANAC and, in the most serious cases, to the Disciplinary Measures Office, cases of failure or delay in compliance by those responsible;

It proposes to the Director-General the adoption of training tools on anti-corruption and transparency to the results of the annual monitoring.
