Competences of the Office
-
It studies the regulation related to Organization, as well as proposals to amend regulatory provisions also in connection with other bodies in the sector, reporting to the Offices concerned;

It supports the preparation and updating of specifications and regulations;

It provides legal opinions to the Central Administration Offices and Research Centres;

It verifies the activation of initiatives for the recovery of debts and for the formalisation of warnings;

It supports the administrative personnel in the preparation of Consortium Agreements and confidentiality agreements within the project activity of the Research Centres;
-
It provides opinions for the drafting and signing of agreements, Temporary special-purpose consortium, Temporary joint ventures, and companies aimed at the implementation of projects, programs and research activities with external parties;

It manages legal disputes before the judicial authorities located on the national territory and prepares the necessary reports to the State Attorney's Office for the technical defense of the Authority;

It handles the out-of-court settlement of disputes provided for by the current legislation;

It manages the Organization's participation in bankruptcy proceedings (bankruptcy, composition with creditors, etc.);

It manages the direct management of compulsory and non-compulsory mediation procedures (Legislative Decree no. 28 of 4 March 2010);

It supports the Director-General in activities that do not fall within the competence of the other Central Administration Offices.
