The new issue of REA is available online
Newly released Issue 1/2025 of REA (Italian Review of Agricultural Economics, owned by CREA Research Centre for Agricultural Policies and Bioeconomy) is available online. This issue contains a keynote article investigating the sustainable food system transitions through a transdisciplinary perspectives. Two research articles deal with the evaluation of the variables that affect the adoption of loose housing in Italian dairy farming and the contributions of rural districts to the Long-Term Vision for Rural Areas. A review article examines the role and challenges of women in agriculture through a bibliometric review. Lastly, a short communication analyses the integration of carbon farming into the Common Agricultural Policy through cross-compliance measures, eco-schemes, and rural development programmes.
