Lab activities are focused on dendroecological research applied to environmental problems. They include: Measurement of the characteristics of tree rings on wood samples of various species and different types of wood; Cross-dating and analysis of the chronological tree ring series to analyze the dynamics of radial growth, the sensitivity to climatic and environmental conditions, and the growth responses to silvicultural interventions.
