What is this

With the Regional Law n. 64 of 16/11/2004 "Protection and enhancement of breeds and varieties for the agricultural, zootechnical and forestry sectors", Tuscany Region has established the Regional Repository where the animal and vegetable genetic resources belonging to the "local" heritage or traditional uses are registered, to preserve and protect them from an economic, scientific and cultural point of view. The technical-scientific Commission, established with the same law, expresses its opinion to support the Regional Council in approving the genetic resources submitted to the repertories by the proposers.
