Pilot plants for processing cereals and pasta production (Rome-Inviolatella)
The Center is equipped with pilot plants for durum and common wheat milling, both traditional (cylinder mills) and innovative (micronizer), as well as debranning and air-classified plants; systems for the second transformation process: pasta making (experimental press and drying cell) programmable for the control and the management the process, and bread making (leavening chamber and oven). The Center is equipped with Near Infrared spectroscopes (VIS-NIR / NIT) for the grain quality analysis used as "master" tools within the differentiated storage network for the quality of the wheat grains.
