Application of optoelectronic, physical and image analysis technologies combined with multivariate predictive models for rapid and non-destructive measurements on agro-food products and/or processes in agriculture/aquaculture.

Main research lines: VIS-NIR spectrophotometry (microNIR, multi- and Hyperspectral imaging), spectrophotocolorimetry, image analysis, shape analysis, stereovision, color analysis, statistics (uni- and multi-variate, classification, predictive models, neural networks), logistics (applied to the post-harvest sector), traceability systems (RFID), environmental monitoring, precision digital agriculture, electronics and open source software. Realization of optoelectronic and mechanical prototypes (3D measurement system, multisensor bench for online multiparametric quality selection through advanced sensing). Thermography with data acquisition and processing.
