In vitro culture and micropropagation laboratory

The research activity is carried out in the fields of micropropagation, in vitro conservation of olive and fruit germplasm ("slow growth" and cryopreservation), plant biotechnologies applied to genetic improvement, the study of the response to abiotic and biotic stress and the in vitro production of secondary metabolites, also performing a morphological, physiological and molecular characterization of the processes.
