Laboratory of Agroecology

Research activities aim to identify and optimize new approaches needed to implement a resilient agriculture that can deal with climate change and guarantee a high level of productivity while respecting the environment and human health. In a context characterized by an increase in cultivated areas and consumption of products derived from organic farming, the Research Centre for Olive, Fruit and Citrus crops has long-term experimental devices allowing research activities to: adequately supporting organic farming, the definition of innovative cultivation techniques, crop diversification, varietal evaluation, traceability and quality of fresh and processed products.
