Laboratory of Phytopathological Analysis

The laboratory is authorised by the Regional Department of Agriculture and Forestry of the Sicily Region with D. D. G. n. 3172 of 20/12/2007 to carry out phytosanitary tests for the diagnosis of the following groups of pathogens: fungi, bacteria, viruses and viroids on fruit trees and related propagating material pursuant to art. 10 of the Ministerial Decree of 14 April 1997. The laboratory is also authorised to carry out tests for varietal matching by means of genomic information or phenotypic characters on fruit trees and propagating material, in accordance with Presidential Decree No 697 of 21 December 1996.
